Daily Duties at Ucla Health:

Hold accountability over the implementation of new Epic Applications in external clinics. Interface with clients and end-users to interpret clinic workflows, processes, data collection, report details, and technical issues. Regularly engage in maintenance, support, and development of personal company portfolio of outpatient clinics. Attend and contribute to team meetings for strategy and to discuss milestones. Epic System Setup and Build:  Certified in the following Epic applications: EpicCare Ambulatory, Cadence, MyChart, and EpicCare Link  Documentation of current and future state workflows in Visio  Collaborate with all levels of system users to properly identify system setup needs and modifications  Successfully deployed Ambulatory and Cadence applications through technical dress rehearsals, workflow design meetings, application testing script preparation, and close collaboration with testing teams to drive functionality.  Responsible for the MyChart project build, implementation and maintenance, including analyses of build for MyChart enhancement requests such as patient-entered questionnaires Testing and Quality Assurance:  Worked closely with the testing team by providing application testing scripts to test functionality of system to ensure end user workflows can be properly executed  Adhered to change control processes to ensure smooth delivery of build into testing environments as well as the production environment Customer Support:  Provided customer support to all staff and troubleshoot application issues to support their workflow needs  Spearheaded research into development, configuration, and modification of “break-fix” solutions.  Provided regular onsite support to end users in clinics User Training:  Worked closely with the training team to document workflows and deliver proper training to end users  Creation of workflow tip sheets and e-learnings to ensure end users are familiar with workflows in the system Project Management:  Managed key projects to ensure each ambulatory clinic implementation adhered to strict timeline while openly communicating with users, managers, and directors to offer continuous support.  Maintained project timelines and milestones for ease of tracking of build to ensure all workflows are accounted for and delivered to end users
