Daily Duties at Newark Public Schools:
• Instruct Algebra I and Intensified Algebra to freshmen • Instruct Geometry to sophomores • Instruct AP Calculus to seniors • Assess the performance of students on a continuing basis and provides progress reports as required. • Create a safe and motivational classroom environment. • Adjust curriculum to meet individual needs, interests, and abilities of students. • Implement instruction in order to achieve growth towards a set goal • Offer additional help to students that require it.
