Daily Duties at Atos Origin Inc.:

• Led a team of 150 IT employees delivering support for the following area: o Server Management including Exchange clusters, a large Citrix farm, Domain Name Services (DNS), NAS file services, and print services on Windows server and UNIX based platforms. o Wide Area Network (WAN) support for the remote clinics and support of diverse Internet links. o Firewall/VPN management of clustered systems running on appliances and Intel based servers. o Internet services including Mail Transport Agents (MTA), Spam filtering, and Antivirus systems. o Remote access solutions including an SSL VPN cluster, a Secure Gateway cluster, dial-in access servers, and a Reverse Proxy cluster. o Desktop Support for 8900+ desktops, laptops, and thin clients and Service Desk support for 13,000 employees and contractors. o Desktop refresh program averaging 200 desktop/laptop/thin client devices per month. o General project support of approximately 6000 hours annually for various IT related activities. • Hired, evaluated, coached and enhanced IT staff performance • Oversaw financial management operations and monitoring accounts’ P&L trends to consistently exceed financial performance, resulting in overall P&L exceeding $15M annually • Developed and implemented training programs and IT company initiatives • Managed all IT vendors, negotiate contracts for cost control and review all IT contracts annually • Managed corporate IT Security standards and activities with respect to security certifications and compliance, including partnering with other teams to define and enforce guidelines • Researched, recommended and executed strategies for hardware and software enhancements to increase employee productivity • Directed, planned, coordinated and implemented all major IT-related projects, ensuring projects are executed on time and within budget • Identified and implemented improvements to promote service and support efficiencies, customer satisfaction, service level management and technology innovation Key Accomplishment o Implemented Citrix server farm and installed thin clients at all remote clinics, significantly reducing the cost per device required for each computer user
