Daily Duties at Amhof Trucking, Inc.:

Managed dispatch functions of fleet operations to ensure efficient and effective movement of customer products. Supervised dispatch team and professional drivers, including pickup, delivery, and transportation of loads, assigning loads to drivers, ensuring order and maintenance of paperwork, and delegating delivery routes. Developed and monitored field efficiencies and innovated new ways to improve operations. Handled complaints, discussed challenges, and worked with management to develop action plans to improve driver performance, profitability, and customer service. Managed accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliation, driver payroll, and office payroll settlements. Reported data monthly to Comdata for fuel tax. Billed outside vendors for fuel purchases monthly and ordered fuel as needed for the terminal. Created tractor permit books and updated them as required by law.
