Daily Duties at Deloitte Consulting:
• Supervise and prepare engagement and client financial reports (pricing analysis, budget preparation, time and expense tracking, budget reconciliation and variance analysis, client billing and receivable collection, financial performance forecasting • Identify, address and resolve engagement, contract and compliance issues • Establish controls; ensure the integrity of client financial reporting • Interact frequently with senior level internal and external clients and firm leadership to present and discuss analyses, recommendations & advice • Communicate between engagement leaders and the financial organization • Provide guidance, direction, and leadership to proposals for project control • Prepare and deliver training sessions on a variety of topics and methods • Manage a practice unit, or multiple project controller teams • Establish and manage project performance criteria • Make counseling & coach assignments for assigned area; • Develop recruiting strategy and plan for assigned area • Oversee the growth and career development of junior resources
