-Working in a small team dedicated to studying finite element analysis and programming CG/DG/HDG/HDG+ methods in MATLAB -Giving talks on various numerical analysis-related concepts at several conferences -Writing and defending a dissertation, entitled "Using HDG+ Methods to Compute Solutions of the Linear Elastic/Poroelastic Wave Equations" which: -Proves the convergence of the frequency-domain elastic approximation to the exact frequency-domain elastic solution -Demonstrates the convergence of the time-domain elastic/poroelastic approximation to the exact time-domain elastic/poroelastic solution
