Daily Duties at Mondelez Global Llc:
Managed a 3 shift 24/7 operation while supervising an immediate staff of 8 supervisors and 120 hourly associates in a union environment. Maintained the strategic direction of the facility by actively focusing the team’s awareness on the plant’s goals and objectives. Plant awarded Mondelez Global “Most Improved Plant in North America FY 2016” for most overall improvement in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Morale. Achieved World Class Safety Injury Rate of .38% vs. target of .76% with one Recordable Injury compared to 6 the previous year. • Exceeded expectations by decreasing Sanitation time by 4 hours from a high of 12 hours to 8 hours. • Improved Delivery Service by increasing Containment to Schedule (CTS) from 72.4% to 80.7 % an 8.3% increase verses a target of 90% by implementing Material Reviews to support production 2 weeks out. • Sustained Customer Fill Rate at 98% vs. target of greater than 98%. • Schedule Attainment increased from 94.4% to 97.3% while attainment rates were increased by 10% over previous year. • Increased Global Efficiency by 6 points from 57.3% to 63.3% with a target of 65%. • Improved Employee Engagement by conducting pre-shift meetings, establishing and maintaining departmental communication boards, and collaborating with the Organizational Pillar / HR on engagement activities to ensure Engagement meets and exceeds 75% or greater. • Conducted 24-hour reviews during Daily Management Systems (DMS1, 2 & 3) meetings to close gaps, initiate action plans to improve performance and cross-functional team collaboration. • Shrink sustained at 10.9% vs. target of 10.5%, 1.5% decrease over previous year with increased volumes. • Successfully passed pilot line Kick-Off of IL6S phase 0 Certification. First plant in North America to achieve this milestone of an integrated line being certified in 9 months.
