As head of the Production Engineering department I provided managerial experience to the development Tooling of plastic injection molding components for High End Mechatronic products including design feasibility, execution, qualification, sourcing, purchasing and negotiation, achieving cost targets and metrics. Provided the Tooling Engineering team with creative and strategic direction for Manufacturing (Industrialization), implementing an International network of North American, Asian and European Toolmakers and Molding Companies. Strategic direction on the Implementation of Moldflow, CT-Scanning, Image Dimensioning Systems and SPC tools. Co-development of painting production line environment similar to Medical Device clean room level. Accountable for Annual Tooling Budget for New Projects = $ 9.5 Mill USD /year.
