Daily Duties at Department Of Homeland Security:
Lead the design and conduct learning needs assessments on as-is workforce and incorporate into defining long-term training needs. Research and recommend implementable training and development plans incorporating customer feedback, relevant trends, techniques and best practices. Prepared executive-level reports and management briefings clearly summarizing learning gaps and workforce development strategies. Build, and maintain, comprehensive Strategic Training Plans, Communication Plans, and Workforce Development Strategies. Gathered, analyzes, translates and composes technical information into clear, readable documents to be used by technical and non-technical personnel. Composes technical documents including, user's manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports. Conducts research and ensures the use of proper technical terminology. Designed and conducted training and development programs to improve individual and organizational performance. ▪ Analyzed training needs, if needed. ▪ Initiated, supervised, and/or developed requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs ▪ Provided strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff ▪ Provided detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues ▪ Consulted with client to define need or problem supervises studies and leads surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
