Daily Duties at Wheaton Door & Window:

Oversaw the production teams in 5 offices, including 4 satellite locations in other states. Responsible for installation all products including doors, windows, siding, roofing, gutters, deck refinishing, deck building, flooring, garage floor refinishing, and bathroom remodels. Maintained an accurate production and service schedule across all markets. Successful transition from outdated systems to Salesforce-based CRM (improveit 360). Directly managed a production staff of over 40 Installers, Field Managers, Service Techs, and Production Coordinators. This included recruiting, onboarding/training, and continual evaluation. Supported sales managers and reps with product/install education and custom project quoting. Controlled job costing through profitability analysis of each project. Careful consideration of contract vs. measure, product ordering, change orders, installation, labor, and commissions. Ensure final balances are collected on all jobs. Maintained warehouse and controlled inventory of custom products and stocked consumables. Managed general building maintenance including cleaning, repairs, dumpster, etc. Provided weekly reporting of production KPI’s as well as current turn times, profitability, collection forecasting, staffing demand, etc.
