Daily Duties at Mann+Hummel Purolator (Manufacturing):
• Supervision of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable , and Staff Accountant • Additions, disposals, and physical inventory of fixed assets • Prepare and file property tax returns for two counties in North Carolina and counties in three other states • Prepare and file North Carolina sales and use tax returns • Compile and submit reports for quarterly and annual tax returns • Collect, review and discuss information for internal and external audits (lead person) • Process and review monthly, and year- end closing transactions of financial statements for US and Canadian facilities, including adjusting journal entries as needed • Reconcile Balance Sheet and related Profit and Loss accounts • Work with Plant Managers on capital improvement budgets and projects • Develop and implement policy and procedures for various accounting duties
