Daily Duties at Para Systems Inc.:
Responsible for the sales and marketing of technical products to the Computer, Telephone, and Security markets in Latin America. Meet and exceed all assigned revenue and profit targets. Research market and product data, industry trends and competitive information to develop techniques providing for continuous growth. Provided sales forecasts, market analysis, revenue targets and expense budgets to HQ management for review and approval. Regular travel to assigned counties in Latin America to visit clients, assist in closings and direct local organizations to develop new opportunities. Provided support for trade shows, customer demonstrations and implemented local activities such as advertising, direct mail, and internet marketing, while staying within allocated expense budgets. Hired and managed in country salespeople as direct employees and/or manufacturer’s representatives to provide local direct sales and support to distributors. Implemented advanced pipeline management disciplines including setting up local warehouses to establish the most efficient balance of inventory, economic order quantities and the lowest freight cost considering inventory holding cost, and container vs. pallet shipment shipments. Managed product shipments from factories in China to achieve the lowest transportation and delivery cost to the customers. Regular travel to assigned countries to visit clients, participate with Regional Trade Shows, assist in closings and direct local organizations to develop new opportunities. Implemented advanced pipeline management disciplines including setting up local warehouses for distribution and Technical support. Identify and Develop new distribution channels. Bidding, offer preparation, white papers. Coach and assist partners with strategic plans for sales force development, technical training and Key Customer Account direct support. Ensure all processes including marketing, sales, and shipments met compliance within each country. Provide Technical support to distributors and end users. Process Repair Maintenance Authorizations on time and in budget for each distributor to provide superior service to end‐user customers. Ensure all customers have proper balance of sales, marketing, inventory, and efficient technical support from headquarters to ensure successful operations.
