Operated as corporate director of case management over four hospitals within the Avanti Hospital system. Delivered direct oversight and management of 20 case managers including education, quality assurance, and process improvement. Ensured efficient and effective case management protocols in relation to length of stay / patient education, coordination of care, and improved quality care. • Spearheaded all aspects of utilization review, discharge planning, and managed care activities. • Supported physicians in managing their patient by facilitating care through administrative interaction with hospital wide departments. • Collaborated with physicians to improve utilization metrics (LOS, CMI, IOI, etc.), denial rate, and clinical care outcomes; integrated the service into the organization’s primary functions. • Completed monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting; ensured standards for performance, quality, and customer service was followed
