Daily Duties at Sirius Xm:

Product/Project Manager, Enterprise Data Management Team • Data Governance lead for the Master Data Management (MDM) project, launching the organization’s first Enterprise Data Dictionary. Lead multi-functional work meetings with business and IT members to document, define, review, and approve hundreds of enterprise-wide terms. Communicated and promoted awareness of MDM in the organization and implemented new document templates to include MDM as part of project development (SDLC). • Led the business requirements gathering process for an enterprise-wide MDM prototype project engaging business users in the Finance and Marketing teams. Worked with development team in the design of the prototype dB, identifying risks, documenting changes and facilitating meetings with business users. Successfully implemented prototype that proved to be a useful tool for daily reporting, as well as providing guidance in the subsequent development of the MDM Program. • Master Data Management (MDM) program team member from its inception. Participated in the RFP process by creating questionnaire and evaluating vendor responses for final selection. Managed the onboarding of the MDM contractors and facilitated meetings for the definition of our MDM vision and roadmap. Led the testing team in tracking testing cycles, status, and defects, and worked with testers and developers in the defect management process to ensure swift resolution of defects. • Product Manager for the subscriber analytics database. Managed team of business and IT analysts responsible for the development lifecycle of the subscriber reporting database. Oversaw project management activities, including status meetings, status reports, issue resolution, prioritization, and the timely completion of business and IT documentation. • Worked with Legal on various data mining efforts to respond to legal request and lawsuits. Teamed with IT on requests that were highly sensitive and required extensive evaluation and testing to ensure accuracy. • Business analyst for subscriber analytics. Collaborated with Marketing, Customer Service, and IT for all subscriber reporting-related needs ensuring the continued integrity of enterprise-wide subscriber analytics.
