Daily Duties at University Of Helsinki:
I was a visiting post-doc researcher in Wartivaara lab for fixed-term. My main responsibilities were: - to differentiate hepatocytes (liver cells) from human pluripotent stem cells - modeling MIRAS syndrome with hepatocytes differentiated form patients' and healthy individuals' stem cells - Running metabolic assays for the stem cell derived hepatocytes - analyzing stem cells derived hepatocytes with immunhistochemistry, FACS and PCR methods - participate weekly lab meetings and to give monthly progress presentations - managing own experiments - design and execute scientific experiments - handling RNAseq data
