Daily Duties at Utsw Medical Center :
As a postdoc researcher my main responsibilities were : - Taking care of the mammalian cell cultures with septic techniques - Develop 3D cell culture method for FACS sorted human and mouse pancreatic beta cells - Flow cytometry (FACS) cell sorting - Taking care of the mice and setting up new breading cohorts - Mice genotyping - Setting up a new qPCR based for genotyping - Immunohistochemistry and confocal imaging - Grant writing - Participation in scientific seminars - Giving monthly progress report in the lab meeting
