Daily Duties at Village Of Glen Ellyn:
As Chief Executive Officer, perform a variety of duties required by State Statute and Village Code. These duties include serving as presiding officer at Village Board meetings, serve as Village’s Liquor Commissioner, and appoint various positions such as the Village Manager, Village Attorney, Village Prosecutor and all members of citizen boards and commissions. Responsible for development, capital improvement projects and relationships with key developers, key business owners, leadership in various organizations and elected officials representing Glen Ellyn’s district. Work closely with all school districts and local college to establish relationships and partnerships in programs. Network with variety of organizations, serve as key note speaker at various events, provide interviews with media outlets and trained in safety response.
