 Direct new product design, development and manufacturing for the nation’s leading manufacturer of security products for government law enforcement agencies, military applications and consumer products.  Initiated updates of current products and create new line extensions for existing ones.  In collaboration with marketing department, transformed and developed an existing military devise into a new product for personal use, which open a new corporate segment for commercial market.  Implement integrated product development processes, methods and tools for inside organization and train personnel in their use, in conformity with company ERP.  Active involved in ethnographic, qualitative, quantitative and conjoint analyses market research initiatives through front ideation, to clear define product design parameters.  Financially control the entire new development product process, from concept to manufacturing, from early NPV until final ROI.  Manage critical path schedules and budgets up to $500,000 resulting in on-time and under-budget results.  Responsible for in-house and outside contracted engineering and manufacturing personnel.  Supported in-house regulatory compliance (MQMS), marketing efforts and sales department initiatives.  Reduced company’s product COG rate by 15%, through material cost reduction algorithms, integrated resources plan and smart negotiations with suppliers and outside contractors.
