Daily Duties at United Tactical Systems Llc.:
Direct new product design, development and manufacturing for the nation’s leading manufacturer of security products for government law enforcement agencies, military applications and consumer products. Initiated updates of current products and create new line extensions for existing ones. In collaboration with marketing department, transformed and developed an existing military devise into a new product for personal use, which open a new corporate segment for commercial market. Implement integrated product development processes, methods and tools for inside organization and train personnel in their use, in conformity with company ERP. Active involved in ethnographic, qualitative, quantitative and conjoint analyses market research initiatives through front ideation, to clear define product design parameters. Financially control the entire new development product process, from concept to manufacturing, from early NPV until final ROI. Manage critical path schedules and budgets up to $500,000 resulting in on-time and under-budget results. Responsible for in-house and outside contracted engineering and manufacturing personnel. Supported in-house regulatory compliance (MQMS), marketing efforts and sales department initiatives. Reduced company’s product COG rate by 15%, through material cost reduction algorithms, integrated resources plan and smart negotiations with suppliers and outside contractors.
