Recruited here by the Chairman and President and charged with overhauling a woefully inadequate accounting department. During my tenure here we upgraded staff and instituted policies and procedures that substantially improved the timeliness and accuracy of the financial data. This resulted in added comfort to the lenders and outside professionals that they could rely on the information reported. This assurance enabled me to work and negotiate with these institutions through some challenged economic times. Eventually this perseverance led to an almost two-fold increase in equity value and sale of the Company.
