Daily Duties at Heartland Hobby Wholesale:
Create daily purchase orders to maintain stock levels. On board new vendors, negotiated terms, set up their lines in the system, and promoted new products. Established relationships with 15 new suppliers during my tenure. • Maintained pricing and margin requirements of all products in system, along with customer discounts and promotional pricing. • Manage credit or replacement parts processes for defectives, averaging approximately 20 cases monthly. • Coordinated merchandise arrivals with warehouse staff totaling 2000 units weekly. • Audited invoices for pricing errors before accounting department payment processing. • Manage 50 vendors to maximize sales and ensure timely and accurate delivery of products while maintaining adequate stock levels to achieve turn rate targets.
