Daily Duties at Zeigler Law Firm:

Reviewed cases, prepare memorandi of fact and law, initiates the filing of legal papers with appropriate court or administrative tribunals; prepare and try cases, consulting with respect to the line of argument and precedent. Types of law: Insurance defense litigation, including arson by insured; Basic business defense litigation (Corporate/Commercial Law) (trial and appellate); and Subrogation for property damage, including products liability (trial and appellate). Harassment and Discrimination Litigation (trial and appellate); Employment Investigations for Title VII claims; Unemployment Appeals; ICRC Complaint Processing; Employment Law Counseling; Wage and Hour claims; Grievance and Arbitration; Severance Agreement reviews; and DHS CHINA and Parents’ Rights litigation. Supervised support and contract staff.
