Spearheaded center operations, encompassing employee engagement and management, while overseeing supply chain, inventories, budgeting and performance management. Also managed training, supervision, scheduling and the establishment of center goals and milestones. • Maintained a positive and professional customer-service oriented environment. • Facilitated sustainable workplace capabilities by driving employee engagement initiatives. • Championed a culture of high-service delivery standards. • Recognized and rewarded employees for exceptional performance. • Reduce Transportation budget by over $180,000 per year by conducting an area-wide reroute of five states; routing stores in the same direction on the same day to be able to move stores from one truck to another without increasing miles; and introducing box trucks for training team members without CDL’s to become delivery drivers. After meeting set requirements, those drivers attended CDL school, thus providing a pool of qualified drivers to train and develop.
