Daily Duties at Au Sable Valley Cmh:

Chairperson of the Safety Committee; to maintain proper risk management within the agency. Led comprehensive safety training for 300 + staff members. Covering injury reports, safety techniques, monthly reporting, help workers understand safety procedures and requirements. Maintain and submitted OSHA 300, 300A and 301 forms. Complete process of employee files for FMLA and Workers Compensation. Maintain and educate employees on Health Benefits and Retirement Pension Benefits, Health Saving Account, 457 Contributions. Assist employees with filling out Long-Term Disability paperwork. Chairperson for new hire On-Boarding process, following state and federal regulations for development of agency training and competency requirements. Credentialing committee, to maintain, and track required training, credentialing, continuing education requirements for all employees, under the Administrative manual, Council on Accreditation (COA) and Northern Michigan Reginal Entity (NMRE) guidelines. Assisting with self-study for the Council on Accreditation (C.O.A.) Chairperson of the employee Wellness Incentive programs. Development and oversee incentive program for healthier employees. Built trust and rapport in the context of daily interactions and investigations, eliciting relevant facts and perspectives while applying company standards. Updated employee records for all changes as related to hiring, terminations, transfers and promotions. Supervisor position prior to taking on the Human Resource Specialist position.
