Daily Duties at Sage Solutions Group:
Overall responsibility and implementations for all Human Resources functions for union and non-union facilities such as, on boarding, recruiting using ATS/HRIS systems, employee training, labor relations, job descriptions, data entry, compensation benefit administration, unemployment, workers compensation, FMLA, FLSA, Cobra, Health/Safety Management, PTO, HIPAA and ADA to ensure compliance with OSHA and all local, state, and federal labor regulations. Conducted audits of record keeping reporting, and employee classifications to ensure compliance with updates to FLSA, ACA, PMLA, 1-9, EEO and other changes in state and federal employment laws. Implemented programs in the following areas: performance management, strategic staffing/retention, legal compliance, terminations and severance packages. Engaged management and employees to create pro-employee practices such as, reward and recognition programs, development planning that increased productivity and reduced cost Payroll processes with Time & Attendance, OT scheduling, Worker's Compensation, Medical LOA, FMLA, Benefits and STD/LTD processing with systems such as, Kronos, ADP, Paychex, Paycor and Gusto. Conducted phone screens with job applicants, selected best candidates and scheduled interviews with hiring manager; performed reference checks and background checks. Updated employee handbooks to ensure compliance with new and updated employment laws. Develop and implement organizational policy and procedures. Employee handbook development and updates.
