Daily Duties at Oracle Inc.:

Acted as a principal application developer of Fusion Technical Architecture team for building Rich Internet Self-Service Web based Applications, Mobile Apps, and Configurable Services Platform for the management of Oracle Fusion Applications. For five years, I worked with Oracle's Fusion Apps Product development team, identifying opportunities for automation related to code lines management. This involved the delivery of code lines of several GA and ST releases for patching as well as for ongoing demo development and testing. I conceptualized and developed Self Service UI using a multi-tier framework (UI/Services/Data) for code line requests and audits that reduced manual work by 70%, and I was able to roll out Sprints for code line management, including over 80s automating approximately 100 manual steps involving integration with other subsystems, using technologies like workflow and APIs. By transitioning knowledge and responsibilities among US and Indian sub-teams with over 15 employees for the operational aspects, I envisioned and delivered a proof-of-concept for the mobile application for Continuous Integration and created an initial product specifications to automate end-to-end processes for code line management through the use of self-service UI for request, approval, creation, validation and release, improving efficiency by 200%. These GA builds of code lines are deployed in Oracle cloud - SAAS environments. Developed machine learning capabilities to capture history of build timings and to report analytics in the dashboard e.g. predictability of a sprint or build to complete, providing estimated time for availability of a GA build on different environments.
