Daily Duties at Alphapointe:
In collaboration with the sales, operations, and customer service departments, led the overall planning, analysis, and implementation of production operations with responsibility for purchasing, production, quality, budgets, inventory, employee engagement and performance, and customer service. Managed a team with 2 direct reports. • Regularly communicated with the sales team to develop and maintain accurate revenue forecasts. • Worked closely with operations to maintain a production schedule based on forecast and capacity planning. • Ensured sufficient inventory and coordinated between Purchasing, Customer Service and Operation to achieve internal performance objectives and external customer scorecard performance objectives. • Coordinated between Purchasing, Customer Service and Operation to achieve internal performance objectives and external customer scorecard performance objectives. • Aggregated data, analyzed budgets and forecasts, and identified trends to improve performance objectives. • Drove inventory control efforts, which balanced working capital and product availability. • Monitored inventory levels and adjusted or reported exceptions. • Managed organizational metrics for forecast accuracy, on-time delivery, production performance to schedule and inventory management; adjusted production schedules as needed. • Communicated production schedule to Supply Chain and Operations Manager. • Collaborated with Quality, Production, Customer Service and Purchasing to coordinate activities and resolved issues to ensure the highest level of customer service. • Led, promoted and facilitated continuous improvement activities that identified methods that improved product quality, output and cost Supply Chain Project Manager (May 2017 – Jan 2019) Oversaw supply chain operations for two warehouses in two locations with a workforce that is 75% vision impaired. Tracked and analyzed data to drive continuous improvement and ensure supply chain efficiency. • Improved shipping errors by 75% by identifying underperforming areas and driving process improvements. • Directed projects related to purchasing, customer service, warehousing, distribution, forecasting, inventory management and production to reduce costs, improve accuracy, customer satisfaction and safety. • Monitored forecasts, identified necessary change, and determine their effect on supply chain activities; improved MRP, production planning, inventory availability and on-time delivery. Logistics Manager Internship (Jan 2017 – May 2017) Participated in an 8-week program established by Hire Our Heroes. • Designed, planned, and controlled supply chain activities; utilized best practices to improve efficiency, reduce costs, increase performance, inventory control, material planning and maintain or improve turnover standards. • Established and maintained formalized testing and certification requirements for Customer Service Representatives within ISO parameters. • Work in conjunction with various groups such Sales, Customer Service, IT and Accounting to handle complaints and ensured support plans are in place to maintain long term customer satisfaction.
