Daily Duties at Crothall Health Care:

• Provide a comprehensive asset management program of over 12K equipment inventory for assigned hospital account, optimizing equipment uptime, and ensuring safety and performance in a cost-conscious and expeditious manner. • Supervised the work of 10 assigned biomedical and imaging equipment technicians on a daily basis. • Mange disciplinary issues and other employee relations concerns with guidance from Human Resources and Regional Operations Manager • Participate in the hiring process; assist company in meeting affirmative action goals • Complete annual employee performance evaluations on a timely basis • Administer quality control program and ensure its use and effectiveness • Represent the company during regulatory inspections: DNV, Joint Commission, CAP, DPH • Repair, install, maintain, calibrate, and inspect medical equipment and instrumentation, including life-support equipment • Assist the Regional Operations Manager in planning, organizing, and directing the effective and economic performance of the contract in accordance with company policies and procedures. • Scheduled planned and unplanned maintenance calls and inspections, ensuring proper staffing level and assistance when needed. • Establish and administer on-call schedule; assume on-call responsibilities as necessary • Ensure test equipment is working properly and calibrate within established intervals • Ensure vendors perform to acceptable standards and provide appropriate documentation • Negotiated service contracts with OEM and sourcing part pricing with third party vendors to lower expenses. • Control parts ordering and inventory • Provide monthly KPI reports to the EOC committee • Conducted daily rounds to departments to ensure the quality and effectiveness of the biomedical program • Administration of the required software management system • Manage account budget of 2.5 million - Responsible for maintaining the yearly budget and weekly MOP through TeamFin accounting system
