Daily Duties at Emerson:
•Coordinated detail instruction for field projects from project managers and electrical engineers •Draftsman/Designer Utilizing (AutoCAD Mechanical -Autodesk 3D Inventor 2015, Oracle) •Created &Updated Analyzers Systems, Electrical Cabinets, Structural, & Mechanical Design •Created, and verified calculations and utilizing NEC & company tables to determine wire & conduit sizes •Coordinated & assembled MRBs for chemical process plants •Designed vented enclosures in Class I, Div II Hazardous Areas for process of chemicals •Document Control of Oil & Gas, Following Control Deliveries, & Updates of Life Cycles (GMP) •Lighting & controls, equipment layout, cable tray, loop sheets, & cable schedules •Research and Testing on product Including FAT certification •Verified that staging of equipment meets to the conditions of the Engineering manager prior to construction startup Would field certify projects, construction, installation of substations and switchgears in manufacturing sites •Supplied customer with additional UL classification of equipment, and components •Overlooked the documentation of field measurements •Created photo tables to upkeep progression to finalization of projects •Participating in cost estimation development for instrumentation and monitoring •Designed as required by NEC (outside or inside) building powerhouse high voltage/power transmission distributions •Designed in accordance to NEC the communications lines, telephone lines and IT networks (ICT), fire detection and protection, HVAC, design of lighting protections systems •Created drawings for protective relays, miscellaneous controls, alarms, monitoring devices, transformer controls, breaker controls, SCADA, AC power and DC controls •Involved in full life cycle of the project.
