Daily Duties at Children's Hospital And Medical Center:
Assumed responsibility for managing effective business operations and financial functions within the department of Perioperative Services. Worked collaboratively with all members of the perioperative interdisciplinary team of nursing, surgery, anesthesiology, and perfusion to develop systems, processes, and plans to improve service profitability and operational efficiency. Managed perioperative business operations in areas of responsibility and serves as a key member of the perioperative leadership team through the development of effective relationships with closely-associated departments (finance, reimbursement, information services, patient access and materials management services). Was a resource to the department and hospital leadership: analyzed and monitored the internal and external environment; investigated and clarified new opportunities; and developed reports and tools that measure key indicators, providing the necessary information to guide operational, strategic, and financial planning that result in clinical and economic growth, performance and service excellence. ACHIEVEMENTS: • Designed, created and maintained the Surgeon Scorecards that monitor key indicators providing the necessary information to guide operational, strategic, and financial planning that result in improved service profitability and operational efficiency.
