Used industry-standard software, 2D and 3D seismic, and traditional oil prospecting methods to locate and recommend new drilling areas in Oklahoma and Texas. Screened projects in the $75-$150 million range submitted by partners or outside companies, with project recommendations routed directly to senior management in support of the company’s North American Growth Initiative. Mentored junior team members in exploration techniques not widely taught in an era dominated by shale reservoirs. Screened conventional and unconventional partner prospect submittals in Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana.
