Determine Capital Project objectives, priorities, and trade-offs.  Define the scope of the studies to be carried out while integrating them within the general process of project development.  Coordinate the construction of the project’s organization with the project manager. In particular: appointed the resources from the Global Business Unite /Regional Buisiness Unit, to Site and the R&I and validates the organization proposed by GEC, including the potential main engineering subcontractors.  Work in close co-operation with these entities’ expertise, convert the needs into Functional Client’s Requirements.  Validate the proposed solutions.  Make decisions or when, beyond my own authority, get a decision made by the GBU/RBU in due time.  Challenge the project’s KPIs: o Safety o Budget / Schedule / Process Performances.  Challenge the technical standards proposed for the plant  Challenge the procurement strategy  Manage the interfaces with: • Technology Development Manager; • R&I; • Finance & legal; • Strategy & markets; • HR & organizations; • Raw materials and logistics. And finally, ensure the project closure and mobilization assessment.
