Daily Duties at Gdit, Inc.:

As representative for USCG Enterprise Management Facility (EMF), Telecommunications Information Systems Command (TISCOM), Alexandria, Virginia, provide on-site administration and user support services to the Commanding Officer of the principal communications facility for the CG Atlantic Area, Coast Guard Communications Area Master Station Atlantic (CAMSLANT) and his staff in Chesapeake, VA. CAMSLANT is the Atlantic hub of communications for the USCG ans is responsible for reliable, effective and efficient communications between all deployed USCG aircraft, cutters, and other units in various locations around the world in direct support of operations. Provide 24/7 support for all SIPRNet issues, including user account management, MS Exchange administration, systems security, network documentation, network diagrams, management of cryptographic equipment, including KIV-7M, KG-175, KG-235, KG-250, STE; connectivity with SECURE Coast Guard Data Network, and SECURE DoD Network via DS-3 and dual homed T1 lines; Satellite Data Exchange (SDX), High Frequency Data Exchange (HFDX), Defense Messaging System (DMS), Automated Message Handling System (AMHS), Coast Guard Messaging System (CGMS), and Coast Guard Deepwater Systems; connectivity with deployable systems - enhanced Mobile Incident Command Post (eMICP) 1 & 2; Mobile Command Vehicle (MCV) 1 & 2; Portable SIPRNet System (DVM-90). Coordinate troubleshooting, restoration and repair of SIPRNet circuits with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Network Operations Center (NOC), commercial carriers, and customer field service engineers to ensure system availability 224/7. Manage System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Manage Memorandum of Agreement System (MOA) between Deepwater cutters and unit. Manage Automated Information Security (AIS) system. Coordinate Top-Secret Certification & Accreditation (TS C&A) process. Manage SIPRNet C&A process. Administer High Assurance Guard/Defense Information Infrastructure (DII) Guard/Operator. Administer Vulnerability Management System (VMS).
