As Alternate Information System Security Officer (AISSO), provided support to the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in Information Assurance. Responsible for multiple operational systems. Created RMF documentation and system-related artifacts. Create, maintain and track Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) documentation. Provide security control implementation/compliance details and artifact collection for validation of continuous security posture of assigned systems. Develop, review, analyze, and update system security documentation, and other Assessment and Authorization (A&A) documentation in order to achieve Authority-to-Operate (ATO) and Interim-Authority-to-Test (IATT) for Coast Guard systems. Work as a liaison with Coast Guard CYBER (CGCYBER) A&A and Vulnerability Assessment Teams. Perform DISA STIG checks. Perform scans utilizing the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) tool. Create network diagrams, system security plans, contingency plans, and other documentation as required by the federal law, and designated approving authority. Create weekly system status reports. Create PowerPoint presentations. Develop authorization packages using the NIST Risk Management Framework using XACTA and eMASS.
