Daily Duties at Fannie Mae:
• Collection of third party and government claims for FHA, VA, Title 1, HECM, and 2035C as well as conventional mortgage insurance payments. Analyze losses and pursue various methods of collection. Received and analyzed loans for review and or repurchase for compensatory fee action, performed forensic review analysis on defaulted loans, consulted with various internal and external customers in order to expand applications into automation in accordance with company guidelines. Worked with 3rd Party Sales to monitor and facilitate closings to be held on a timely schedule. Tracking of the timely receipt of sales proceeds in order to release funds to 3rd party clients for billing expenses incurred prior to closing. Worked with the mortgage insurance team in the reduction of MI claims by 25% by creating reporting on a daily basis from internal systems. These reports are currently used by Fannie Mae and all vendors associated with MI claims. Audited and processed cash disbursements for internal regions within the company also provided training for servicers and internal employees on company software.
