Daily Duties at Sonoco Products Company:
• Provide leadership and support to direct reports to discuss expectations, progress of work and resolution of problems to ensure that the production floor operations objectives are met. • Proactively implement, promote and maintain a safe working environment through diligence and accident prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance, and policy enforcement. • Train, coach and provide guidance to production personnel, demonstrate passion and optimism about the company’s vision and inspire others. • Perform continues process improvement, provide training and manage employee’s schedules. • Lead special projects and develop solutions related to safety, quality, capacity balance, workflow, planning and logistic initiatives. • Exercise excellent people skills in getting team to rally behind company’s initiative to increase productivity and output. • Participate in line validation through IQ/OQ/PQ, and ensure the machine operation as designed, by testing and measuring performance.
