Daily Duties at Ibm:

I served in several roles at IBM during those years, but I spent the bulk of the time at the training center in Irving. I developed AIX curriculum, delivered stand up and CNET (internal cable) training, and presented at a major product announcement event.

What they like about Ibm:

You highly value a work environment built on a formal structure, rules, and regulations. You do not enjoy the unpredictability of shifting priorities and deadlines that upset your routine. You require and enjoy direction, input and accountability as part of your work environment. You have a strong need to participate in making key decisions and feel left out if your superiors or co-workers do not seek your input when making decisions. You thrive on providing good customer service to both internal or external customers, and doing so makes you feel good.

Everything can be self taught with the proper use of Google and YouTube. I am constantly learning new training techniques, software solutions, MS Office tricks, and so much more. I find the net much more nimble than books.
YouTube

I watch online training videos both to learn new skills but to critique and review training best practices. Much can be learned from both positive and negative examples.
