Daily Duties at Us Air Force:
Lead the deployment of multi-million-dollar communication systems for Air Force Planes, acting as subject matter expert for systems’ cybersecurity controls and providing specialized assistance to system stakeholders for proper configuration and management. Obtained accreditation for NIPRnet network for Travis Air Force Base using risk management framework NIST SP 800-39, NIST SP 800-53 rev 4, NIST SP 800-53A, systems security plan, asset list, security assessment report, artifacts, policies and procedures and submission of accreditation package. Led the rebuild of the entire cybersecurity program for Travis Air Force Base, acting as advisor to the United States Air Force on information security related issues and remediation efforts. Manages security budget requirements with resource management staff, and on project requirements with purview over Department of Defense (DoD) Classified and Unclassified Networks, COMPUSEC, COMSEC and INFOSEC.
