Managed all new construction, re-development, affordable housing (tax credits), environmental remediation and all CapEx for the eastern region of the company. The eastern region contained 144,000 apartments, and a CapEx budget of $780M. Managed a staff of 12 construction managers. Selected Accomplishments Include: • Flamingo Point Apartments, Miami Beach, FL - $250 million development, New Center Tower is new construction that contains 513 units with 2 existing mid-rise buildings containing 561 units per building that were totally renovated. The entire development contains 1,635 units. • Directly responsible for the successful development of Glenbridge Manors in Cincinnati, OH, which was a $26 million project with 290 units built. • Value engineered the company savings of over $10 million ($180 million of added value) annually by creatively seeking better, more efficient processes and methods of getting capex work done.
