Daily Duties at Oppenheimer Funds:
• Co-Lead of OFI’s BA Forum/Center of Excellence. Implemented to ensure consistency of business analyst deliverables and quality of business analysis practice across the organization. • Developed and managed the BA mentor program across the organization. • Work with executive management and cross functional teams on business process reengineering of end to end business process improvement and project delivery. • Work closely with the Business to clearly understand and articulate the business needs and stakeholder vision. • Lead work streams related to the integration of OFI and Invesco, reporting against operational metrics. • Provided training on Lean problem solving and experimentation to the organization in partnership with HR. • Developed a deep understanding of the goals and needs of stakeholders with the user experience at the heart of all discussions and solutions. • Creation and management of feature backlogs to meet the identified stakeholder needs aligned with the product vision. • Work closely with development teams to deliver on prioritized feature backlogs • Prioritize production issues to manage completion and delivery by project business analysts and QA team. • Collaborate with QA team to define acceptance criteria for test plans. Conduct UAT with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables are aligned with project plan and stakeholder expectations. • Partner with internal teams and clients to ensure requirements are captured appropriately and product developed to meet client’s requirements. • Responsible for compiling and analyzing enhancement requests from stakeholders, leading prioritization efforts and facilitating delivery. • Develop requirements specifications, user stories, use cases & diagrams, process flows/activity diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and business capability roadmaps. • Facilitate brainstorming sessions to articulate and translate strategic themes and roadmaps into deliverables. • Facilitate change across the organization through analysis, design and implementation of business processes to achieve business objectives. • Full project life cycle project management from feasibility study to retrospective.
