Daily Duties at North American Dental Group:
• Established criteria for and conducted in-depth clinical due diligence of potential acquisitions from multi-office group practices to single doctor offices. • Served as the leading liaison to legal, investigative and regulatory agencies. Lectured to dentists on risk management, documentation and ethics. Represented Group to nonmember dentists and hygienists on these topics. • Served as administrator of the Quality Assurance Committee and acted on the committee’s recommendations. • Worked closely with dentists, patients and office managers to resolve contentious issues before they could become serious, costly issues. Saved hundreds of thousands of dollars by resolving conflicts before they became litigious with a 95% success rate. • Created regional study clubs for dentists to advance continuing education, discuss clinical cases, and address practice issues. • Conducted clinical due diligence on potential new practice acquisitions with comprehensive reporting and recommendations to Executive Management. • Earned the respect of the Ohio State Dental Board Investigators and Executives through cooperative, timely, and thorough management of reported cases.
