Daily Duties at Cleveland Dental Institute, Llc:

In this position, he was tasked to oversee the Management of the company, as well as create new educational programs including new Residency Programs and broader Continuing Education programming for the Dental Community. Specifically: • Created the organizational structure and culture of patient-centered-care for CDI; • Established Risk Management and Compliance Policy and provided educational workshops for both clinical and operations staff; • Oversaw legal and regulatory matters as they pertain to patient and/or staff complaints; • Conducted regularly scheduled Management meetings: • Liaised with Community partners regarding program and site acquisition projects; • Liaised with the Marketing Team to ensure best value in website and other forms of promotion; • Successfully negotiated lease and partnership agreements with expanded locations including Ashtabula County Medical Center. • Successfully defended and resolved a staff complaint to the Ohio Civil Rights Commission; • Aided the Ohio State Dental Board in resolving patient complaints. As Director of Education, he: • Successfully obtained approval, through American Dental Association accreditation, for a new 2-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program, Sponsored by St. Vincent Charity Medical Center, Cleveland, OH; • Successfully obtained re-newed ADA accreditation for CDI’s General Practice Residency Program; • Coordinated and managed CDI’s broader Continuing Dental Education (CDE) programming involving over 200 hours of advanced education; • Maintained CDI in good standing with American Dental Association national accreditation as an approved provider of Continuing Dental Education; • Contributed as a lecturer to Residency and CDE programs; • Created and delivered the didactic content to the Residency Program in areas of: Risk Management; Communication and Conflict Avoidance; Adverse Event Decision Making; Ethics and Professionalism; The Business of Dentistry.
