Daily Duties at Civil Air Patrol:
Deputy Chief of Staff – Oversees all function related to the cadet program for eight wing, analyze the progress of each wing while following procedures and coordinate member training, monitor subordinate unit, disseminate information, provide region wide special activities, power point presentations, ensure allocation of funds, property, and recognition in the cadet program. Computer skills: Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Microsoft Project. Director or Cadet Programs - Directs and evaluates implementation while analyzing 36 plus squadrons of the Cadet Program. Ensure cadet protection policy and training are enforced. Oversees all function related to the cadet program while analyze following procedures coordinate member training, monitor subordinate unit, disseminate information, provide wing wide special activities, power point presentations, ensure allocation of funds, property, and recognition in the cadet program. Monitor funds and property. Computer skills: Outlook, Microsoft word, Excel, and Power point. Cadet Programs Development Officer – Manages and directs related to implementation of the cadet program in subordinate units, analyze the cadet programs, coordinate members training accomplishments with other members of the staff while following procedure, analysis subordinate unit’s progress toward the achievement of the cadet program as established by national, Disseminate procedures pertaining to cadet programs, recruit personnel to establish new units, provide assistance to new cadet units. Ensure allocation of funds, property, and recognition in the cadet program. Computer skills: Outlook, Microsoft word, Excel, and Power point. Squadron Commander – Is responsible for ensuring that the corporation objectives, policies, and operational directives are very effectively executed within their squadron. Establish plans, policies, and procedures necessary to the fulfillment of the CAP mission. Keep information of the accomplishments, problems, and degree of compliance with regulations and other directives through personnel observations, power point presentations, inspections, reports, and staff meeting. Ensure safety of personnel. Computer skills: Outlook, Microsoft word, Excel, and Power point.
