Daily Duties at Mit Lincoln Laboratory:
Responsible for the optical design and testing of the Space Based Visible (SBV) Sensor, visible band surveillance telescope built by MIT's Lincoln Laboratory as part of a sensor ensemble on the Midcourse Space Experiment (MSX) satellite. The 18” aperture SBV telescope was designed to perform above-the-horizon surveillance experiments. Interfaced with the electrical and mechanical units for the successful deployment of the SBV Telescope, which operated successfully in earth orbit well beyond its anticipated lifecycle.
