Daily Duties at Norsk Data:
Established and managed the West Coast Sales Office in Newport Beach, California. Responsibilities include staffing and managing sales, technical, and administrative personnel. Primary purpose of the office was to establish a presence on the West Coast, and to seek and identify strategic marketing partners. Routine interface with top-level executives of Fortune 500 companies throughout North America. Approximately 25% of time was spent in cultivating and developing sales opportunities within large defense and aerospace programs. Clients included Boeing, Hughes Aircraft, Bell Helicopter, Xerox, 3M, Apple Computer and others.
