Daily Duties at Cosa Sa Police Accounting, Payroll And Personnel Department :
• Received and processed Workers Compensation claims including calculated financial loss of salary / wage due to injury; entered claims into SAP, Access and EC Web database programs, so that the Risk department can report these incidents within the time constraint requirements of Texas Department of Insurance (TDI). • Point of contact for injured claimants, supervisors, doctors’ offices; worked closely with the COSA’s Risk Management Division pertaining to these injuries and compliance related matters to include records management & process management of these files. • Provided administrative support for the processing and entering of protective orders into the Texas Criminal Information Center (TCIC) and National Criminal Information Center (NCIC) TLETS database system.
