Daily Duties at Blind Childrens Center:
General office work, data entry(enter cash receipts on a daily basis, posting incoming checks into computerized donor system and assigned to proper general ledger accounts), answer and transfer phone calls (Friday's only), special event tracking, assist with special events, generating reports for the finance department and the development department, generating thank you letters and Light the Way certificates for donations $500.00 and up, provided general support for special events and other development projects as assigned, participated in BCC fundraising events scheduled on paid workdays which may require flexible hours as requested, take pictures at special events, in charge of recruiting volunteers for all of our special events, coordinate special activities and events with the Sorority Delta Gammas, sending email reminders to Executive and Board of Directors, putting together Executive and Board of Directors packages for meetings, sending minutes once approved by the Executive Director and other duties as needed.
