Daily Duties at H.D. Vest Inc.:

Lead a team of 30 professionals, including three (3) managers, through the successful administration of several areas including mutual fund, annuity, alternative account process, advisory billing, performance reporting, and document control. Identify strength of process improvement and development to result in oversight and management of a multitude of departments within the organization throughout tenure. Manage a $5.3M budget and oversee a quarterly advisory billing cycle of $40M+ in advisory fees. Support and supervise the Clearing Firm migration from First Clearing to National Financial. Develop and implement workflow conversion and Advisory Platform from Black Diamond to Envestnet.  Effective Leadership: Utilized a unique approach to manage facilities and supervise daily operations of business continuity planning (BCP) while simultaneously managing Document Control (comprised of incoming mail and document imaging), Commission Department, and Securities Licensing and Registration. Most recent oversaw multiple areas including Document Control, Mutual Fund, Alternative, and Annuity Account Opening and Maintenance including Cash Processing/Trading and Advisory Billing.  Workflow Establishment: Teamed with other professionals to spearhead the workflow system conversion from FileNet to Pega; and implemented Paperless Office processing with document/check imaging and remote imaging utilizing Kofax.  Process Improvement: Eliminated paper exchanges between headquarters and advisors through the implementation of Remote Capture
