Daily Duties at Subscription Ink:

Recruited back into the company to rescue a rapidly declining IT infrastructure following the failure of a major cloud-based initiative, I had my hands full. The project was abandoned just prior to beta release and we had to move fast to avoid further customer exits. I immediately halted our client loss and repaired existing partner relationships by leading from the front, reconnecting with some of my former client contacts, and working hand-in-hand with our people to inspire confidence in the business. My efforts minimized downtime and secured our revenue flow, turning a potential catastrophe into actual profit growth. As CTO of three entities within the company portfolio, I was charged with developing a fully redundant, fully failover secure environment, migrating our data warehouse to a new domain, and developing new RFIs and vendor relationships. Key Contributions: â–ºHalted daily equipment failure following takeover of operations, achieving 96.2% uptime. â–ºCaptured $100K in annual savings after streamlining call center operations. â–ºDelivered an additional 18% reduction in monthly spend and achieved a significant decrease in downtime after migrating. personnel and equipment to our new data center. â–ºConceptualized and launched new, state-of-the-art training and testing lab using reclaimed equipment. â–ºSpearheaded project to migrate 5,000 DID numbers on-time and under-budget. â–ºAchieved $60K in savings in annual hardware repair expenses as chair of the steering committee. â–ºHand-picked to lead the IT operations committee and offshore dialer selection committee.
