Daily Duties at Tempoe Financial:

Recruited to manage a period of change and realignment, I work with our VP of Engineering to run the Manchester office. We manage enterprise operations across the U.S. and Guam, with multiple remote data centers and two nearshore call centers. I am also an active member of the fraud committee, change control board, corporate office move committee, and nearshore call center committee. Owning every aspect of IT operations, security, and PCI compliance across the enterprise, I designed a future-thinking IT security strategy and vision to guide the next phase of business development and growth. Seizing the opportunity to train and develop multiple new and existing team members, I repurposed some old equipment and built a virtual lab so we could offer a venue for skills development training to both our on-site and remote teams. Key Contributions: â–ºNavigated a leadership transition by improving team culture and building meaningful relationships with existing staff. â–ºEncouraged best practice compliance and security practices, resulting in the successful navigation of two PCI audits, two Deloitte audits, and two financial audits requested by top customers. â–ºImproved system uptime by migrating to Nutanix and lowered time-to-DR site by upgrading bandwidth without increasing costs. â–ºSaved six figures in monthly outbound calls after reducing the cost of telco per-minute rate and decreasing minimum call duration from 30 seconds to six seconds. â–ºWon two Obvious Choice awards by creating a solution to navigate an outage due to bad deployment and ensuring third-party secure connections to networks in Honduras. â–ºLowered infrastructure costs, increased business agility, and improved disaster recovery capabilities after migrating our systems from legacy on-premise Exchange servers and CRM software to cloud-based Office 365, Dynamic 365, and SharePoint 365.
