Managed all Lab submittals, Product Engineering & Development, Standards / Compliance Management, Contracts and Negotiations, Risk Assessment, R&D, with staff ranging up to 25 and budgets exceeding $100K.  Led Research and Development for more than 25 Personal Flotation Device products, served as inflatable components development engineer and orchestrated laboratory submittal projects.  Gained high reviews from customers and distributors for developing numerous innovative Co2 pressurized chambers and rugged PFD chassis including 16g, 38g, 33g, and 24g harness, non-harness and belt pack inflatable full products.  Spearheaded maintenance and compliance validation of the production and follow up of 25+ comprehensive UL marine MQ and technical files for UL, ULC and ISO inspections in USA, China and, Vietnam.  Developed and project-managed four new and patentable inflation systems, including mechanical function R&D for proper rugged use. Innovated efficiency improvements by 50% across company divisions, streamlined raw material channels, and improved procurement efficiency by 75%.  Led process flow analysis and implemented improvements utilizing Kanban bottleneck location methods, identifying and correcting numerous production and QA bottlenecks resulting in years of saved time and revenue.
